Burns Lodge is the original homestead of the farm and was built in the very late 1800’s as testified by the high wooden ceilings, beams, spacious rooms and stoeps front and back.  Much planning went into the restoration and interior decorating to preserve the homely feel of the historic old farmhouse while providing modern conveniences and standards of comfort.  We would like you to think of Burns Lodge as your home for the duration of your stay!

The lodge stands on its own, apart from the present day farmstead, so that guests have their privacy.

Burns Lodge has a splendid location with wide vistas over gentle farmland as far as St Francis Bay; the photo at the top of the page was taken from the back stoep of the lodge.  It is a great place from which to explore the region and its attractions - you are only a few minutes' drive from the world famous waves of Jeffrey's Bay
